The one thing that seems to bond all true fly fishermen is the willingness to find fish and do whatever it takes to catch them. It is that tireless spirit and somewhat hardheadedness that keeps us up all night tying before a full day on the water. We have to. There is no can of worms, no magic scent and no space age material floating in goo to avoid drying out. We have hair, feathers and our countless hours on the water trying to perfect our technique. Now, I am sure we have all heard this poetic type bullshit before and yes it rings true but for some of us fly fishing is more of an adventure than an afternoon in a tweed cap. Some brave howling wind and blistering sun in pursuit of a tailing fish while others fight rushing water and slippery rocks; but isn’t that what makes it so great?

So, here it is. Travel, booze, cigars, some music and of course fly-fishing.
